Responsible to: Broadcasting Officer

Purpose of job

To provide camera operations for the Parliamentary broadcasting

Duties

  1. Prepares equipment (cameras, tripods, lighting, etc.) and coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth production;
  2. Provides camera operations in the chamber, committee rooms, studio and outside programs;
  3. Collaborates with producers and others to plan and execute shoots;
  4. Carries out preventative maintenance of camera equipment and accessories;
  5. Performs video editing and graphic design;
  6. Puts in sub-titles and voice-over where necessary; and,
  7. Troubleshoots technical issues during production.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Electronics or Audio Visual Production or TV production. At least two (2) years’ work experience in videography or camera shooting, creative video editing and graphic design.
