Post: Refrigeration Technician
Grade: NA10
Responsible to: Chief Electrician Technician
Purpose of the job
To maintain refrigeration systems and equipment at the Parliament Building and other official infrastructures.
Duties
- Coordinates preventative maintenance schedules;
- Performs minor calibrations;
- Performs system checks, system troubleshooting and refrigerant recovery;
- Maintains records including daily service logs, refrigerant recovery reports and service records;
- Researches and resolves complex system problems; and,
- Maintains an inventory of materials and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Malawi School Certificate of Education plus Grade 1 Trade Test or in equivalent in Refrigeration with at least two (2) years’ work experience in refrigeration.
