Post: Senior Physical Assets Officer
Grade: NA7
Responsible to : Chief Physical Assets Officer
Responsible for: Physical Assets Officer
Purpose of the job
To coordinate administration of physical assets in Parliament.
Duties
- Establishes an effective asset management system;
- Manages assets allocation according to established policy and procedures;
- Manages the performance of asset verification according to prescribed time frames:
- Ensures compliance with procurement and disposal of assets laws, policies and processes:
- Advise staff on proper management of asset;
- Assists in the preparation and reporting of annual workplan and budget; and,
- Manages and appraises staff under his or her charge.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or Public Administration with at least two (2) years’ work experience in asset management.
