Position: Sales Manager
Location: Blantyre
Workforce Recruitment Services seeks to recruit for the following position on behalf of a Client.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for cables, transformers, and related power products to achieve regional sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients (e.g., power utilities, contractors, distributors) while maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Work closely with product, logistics, and after-sales teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve client issues
- Responsible for monitoring project execution and managing payment collection.
- If necessary, Business trip to nearby countries, finish the bidding process, Customer visit etc.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 3+ years of sales experience in power equipment (cables/transformers), with preference for candidates familiar with African markets.
- Strong negotiation and client acquisition skills, with a proven track record of securing large-scale orders.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in Chinese (e.g., Chichewa) is a plus; cultural adaptability.
- Technical knowledge of power products, with ability to translate client needs into solutions.
- Willingness to travel frequently
