Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS)
Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) was established by an Act of Parliament, Act Number 10 of 1974, with mandate to develop, promote, encourage and control all forms of sport in the country.
In order to fulfill its mandate, MNCS invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill various vacant positions as follows:
SPORTS AND RECREATION DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Grade: CS5
Reporting to: Regional Sports and Recreation Development Manager
Position function : To plan and implement sports and recreation development activities
Main Duties;
- Managing and monitoring the quantity and quality of implemented strategic sports and recreation skill development programs.
- Initiating the collection, development, analysis and maintenance of sports related information and
- Promoting advocacy and awareness programs for e) partnerships and sponsorship
- Implementing sports and recreational development programs.
- Coordinating sports plans and consolidating competition and events disciplines schedules for sports
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Sports Management/Sports Science/ Physical Education or any sports related discipline.
- 4 years’ experience in sports related field
