Old Mutual Pension Services Company Limited (OMPSC), a leading provider of pension administration and corporate trustee services and a member of the Old Mutual Group, is seeking a driven, energetic, and results-oriented
professional to fill the vacant position of Manager – Segregated Funds tenable at Old Mutual Blantyre Office.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality service delivery to the segregated funds and minors funds in line with OMPSC service level agreements with each of the pension funds.
- Maintain and grow the existing business in line with OMPSC business development and retention strategies.
- Supervise staff in the department to ensure high performance standards are always achieved. Monitor and encourage good performance by conducting staff performance appraisals at a minimum twice a year
- Enforce compliance with set systems of control, procedures and processes within the Department.
- Promote efficient and effective utilisation of the established pension administration system and other information systems in use.
- Ensure customer data is correctly captured, stored and maintained.
- Update pension contributions and process claims in compliance to the provisions of the Pension Act 2023 and the directives.
- Uphold the good image of the company in the execution of duties.
- Ensure compliance with current statutory legislations and regulations.
- Providing accurate and up-to-date reports to trustees and other service providers of the Fund and ensuring open communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business administration from a recognized and reputable institution of higher learning.
- Must have good knowledge of the Pension Act 2023 and Pension Directives.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a busy organization.
- Must have strong data analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions to complex problems.
- Must be able to demonstrate numerical, analytical, verbal skills and IT skills.
- Must have the ability to work proactively within a demanding environment and be a key contributor to innovative customer solutions.
