Robin Pope Safaris is currently taking application for a Lodge Management Couple position for one of our properties in Malawi
The candidate/s would be responsible for the entire operations of the lodge including but not limited to
- Guest check ins & briefings, hosting & check-outs, and all guest experiences during their stay.
- Planning lodge logistics, rooming, staff schedules etc.
- Lodge Maintenance.
- Submit weekly operations budgets and manage expenses accordingly.
- Submit daily lodge notes to the Country Manager and Directors.
- Ensure that lodge systems and policies are maintained.
- Manage a staff team of between 27 – 35.
- If needed, one person from the couple may be required to do relief work at another Robin Pope Safaris property.
- The management couple reports to the country manager.
A couple with the following experience and skills are preferred
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience managing a similar property.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Food & Beverage background.
- Strong hosting skills.
- Strong Maintenance experience including Vehicles & Boats
- Strong leadership skills.
- The ability to work with senior management toward reaching the lodge’s goals and aims.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
