The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Nkhata Bay District Council.
POST: Stores Supervisor
Grade: M8
Qualifications:
Applicants must be serving Senior Stores Assistants (M9) with four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities or in possession of a Diploma in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply, Supply Chain Management or Level 5 of CIPS obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
- Overseeing the receipt and inspection of incoming goods
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts
- Supervising the storage and organization of goods in the ware house
- Coordinating the issuance of goods to internal departments
- Maintaining accurate records and reports on inventory and stock movements
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and government policies vii. Any other relevant duties assigned
