The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Nkhata Bay District Council.
POST: Senior Roads Engineer
Grade: M5
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering obtained from accredited institutions and must be registered with Malawi Institute of Engineers.
Duties
- Designing, construction and maintenance of roads and transport infrastructure
- Manage and assign resources as needed within the engineering team Ensure that roads are safe, efficient and sustainable for the people who use them.
- Assist in ensuring quality control standards, systems and procedures are in place for construction projects.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual report.
- Assist in reviewing engineering designs and drawing prepared by consultants.
- Any other duties assigned
