The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Nkhata Bay District Council.
POST: Director of Health Services
Grade：M2
Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Chief Health Services Officer (Grade M3) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine or Public Health.”
Duties
- Plan and coordinate day to day activities of the Directorate
- Advise the Health Committee of the Council and the District Commissioner on all health Services;
- Control the use of resources in the Directorate
- Develop annual health and Social Welfare Services plans for the Council;
- Prepare estimated drugs and other necessary medical requirements for the Council
- Ensure that health standards are upheld all the time;
