The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Nkhata Bay District Council.
POST: Dental Officer
Grade: M6
Qualifications:
Applicants must be serving Senior Dental Technicians (Grade M7) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities or in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental obtained from accredited institutions and must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi.
Duties
- Examining patients teeth and gums to diagnose and treat dental conditions
- Performing routine check-ups and cleaning
- Filling cavities and extracting teeth
- Prescribing medications for dental conditions Providing education on oral health and hygiene
- Maintaining patient records
- Working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Any other relevant duties assigned
