Post: Finance Manager
Location: Lilongwe Golf Club, Lilongwe
Lilongwe Golf Club, one of the premier golf clubs in Malawi, is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Finance Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management of the club including forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Provide financial advice and support to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration will be an added advantage
- Chartered Accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAM) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
