SPORTS COMPLEX VACANCIES: VARIOUS
The Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) Sports Complex, a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, has vacancies for various positions. The positions are available in Blantyre and Lilongwe on a one-year contract basis which is renewable based on satisfactory performance.
The positions are as follows:

| 1. Food and Beverages Managers | Preparing Weekly Food Menus and supervising kitchen staff | Advanced Diploma in Food Production | 7 years working a 3-star hotel or above |
| 2. Operations Supervisors | To maximize processes and procedures while meeting customer expectations in terms of quality control and cost-effectiveness. | Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Industry, Business Administration or related field | 5 years working in a busy environment |
| 3.Conference, Restaurant and Banqueting Supervisor | Ensure that meetings, conferences and banquets are held in orderly manner | Diploma in Hospitality Management of its equivalent | 5 years experience |
| 4. Accountants | Overseeing the operations of accounts section to ensure it is effective and efficient and managing payments | Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration. Those studying towards professional qualification of ICAM, CIMA or ACCA have added advantage | 4 Years in a busy environment |
| 5.Procurement Officers | Responsible for carrying out procurement of goods, works and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. | Advanced Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain and Logistics | 3 Years Experience |
| 6.Stores Officer | Receiving and Issuing Stocks in accordance with laid Supply Chain and down procedures | Advanced Diploma in Procurement or Logistics | 3 Years Experience |
| 7.Chefs | Preparing nutritious meals for guests | Diploma in Food Production | 3 Years working in a reputable kitchen |
| 8. Waiters/ Waitresses | Serving meals and drinks to customers | Diploma in Hospitality Management | 3 Years Experience |
| 9. Bartenders | Preparing beverages for bar and restaurant patrons | Diploma in Hospitality Management | 2 Years Experience |
| 10.Kitchen Porter/ Kitchen Cleaners | Assisting the chefs in ensuring the kitchen is clean all the time | Malawi School Certificate of Education | 2 Years Experience |
| 11.Office Assistants/ Cleaners | Ensure the premises are clean at all times | Malawi School Certificate of Education | 2 Years Experience |
