Purpose: Manage Human Resource, Administration, Company Property and People Security!
- Coordinate the implementation of rewards systems in line with labour laws/regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements and competitive compensation structures.
- Collaborate with all staff and provide day-to-day focused support to line managers on the performance management system as required while adding value to the organisation through creative people management and relationship building.
- Lead and deliver the talent management plan across the business, with an emphasis on developing a high performing talent pool.
- Coordinate the sourcing, recruitment and on boarding of key roles in the Malawi business and in liaison with the recruiting managers.
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on labour, contract management and litigations.
- Facilitate communication and dialogue to resolve internal conflict informally through appropriate conflict and grievance management and mediation techniques by providing channels to problem solving and dispute resolution.
- Identify and protect company assets through development and implementation of security protocols.
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points as well as permitting or prohibiting entry.
- Responsible for the administration of Company benefits program including medical insurance, pension/retrement schemes, life insurance and wellness programs in line with the company’s guidelines.
Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management from a reputable Institution.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource and Administration department of a busy institution.
- Any security management certifications or trainings.
- Experience in institutional security management will be an added advantage.
