Air Cargo Malawi Limited (ACM) is astate-owned Company with offices at Kamuzu and Chileka International Airports. The mandate of ACM is to “provide safe and reliable carriage of goods by air, ancillary services and promote any commercial activity beneficial to the business of the company”.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following vacancy.
PSV DRIVER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Picks up staff as per transport requisition and as instructed.
- Drives staff after work at their respective drop off points
- Drive with care, ensuring safety and security of the vehicle and passengers at all times
- Monitors vehicle service requirements, performance and report any faults immediately
- Ensures validity of all required regulatory documents (licenses and certificates) for the vehicle
- Complete the vehicle log book for the trip
- Conduct and record daily and routine vehicle checks
- Keep vehicle clean and in good condition
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
- Class C1 Driving License
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Five (5) years’ experience in passenger conveyance services
- Hard working
- Reliable, self-starter and mature in judgement
- Honest with sober and high moral/social integrity
- Solution oriented
- Smart and presentable
- Able to communicate fluently in English
- Without a Criminal record
- Physically fit with a good health record
- Ready to work odd hours
