Background

CQC has been active in Malawi since 2018 with an initial focus on clean cookstove programs in rural settings. To date, we have distributed clean cookstoves to approximately one million households through implementing partners and our own operational arm (CQC Direct). Within the past year, our country office has rapidly expanded its portfolio to include nature-based carbon removals projects, cookstoves for the peri-urban/urban market, and the introduction of an alternative fuels’ ecosystem (pellets, LPG).
