Retail Segment Manager – First, Fast and Diaspora

Reporting to the Team Leader – Products & Payments, the successful candidate will develop, manage and sustain a banking product/s portfolio and grow utilization of products within segments to ensure smooth operation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product development and management within segments.
  • Ensures that the segment offers remain attractive and competitive in the market.
  • Ensures that all Products and Services offered per segment are meeting adoption, penetration and revenue KPIs.
  • Conduct activities such as customer surveys, analysing market data, and staying up to date.
  • Data collection on product performance, analysis of data to identify trends and areas for improvement and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Work on segment projects and proactive drive mark-to-market to creatively structure propositions to influence rate of penetration and utilization.

  • Understanding of the Bank processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a branch banking, product management, segments management, or commercial business environment.
