Tender Notice – Supply and Delivery of 90 Brand-New Mobile Phones

TENDER FOR SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF 90 MOBILE PHONES

Restore Africa project as an Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation (ARR) carbon project, is implementing land restoration activities to increase carbon sequestration and/or reduce GHG emissions by establishing, increasing, or restoring vegetative cover (on farmland and community land) through the planting of new trees or managing regenerating trees -Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR). Farmers participating in this project will have to commit part of their land to tree planting, protecting, nurturing, and maintaining trees and FMNR. Farmers are being provided with tree seeds, training on planting, growing, protecting, nurturing, and maintaining trees, and other climate smart agriculture support to enhance their livelihood on their land.

Under the Restore Africa project, Self Help Africa (SHA) is implementing the project in Chitipa Districts. In line with this initiative, SHA invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply and delivery of 90 brand-new Mobile phones in Lilongwe District

  • Internal Storage: 64GB 4GB RAM / 128GB 4GB RAM
  • Operating System: Android 14 (minimum), upgradable to Android 15, One UI 7 (or equivalent)
  • CPU: Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55, or equivalent)
Quantity
  • 90 brand new Units
The bid should include:
  • Valid business registration and tax clearance certificates.
  • Detailed quotation showing unit and total cost (inclusive of VAT and delivery to Lilongwe).
  • Brand/model offered, including full technical specifications.
  • Warranty details for the supplied phones.
  • Delivery lead time.
NOTE
  • Please include a variety of a live photos of Mobile phones taken from various angles

 

Delivery Address: SHA Office, Lilongwe, City Centre.  Delivery Time between 9:00am – 16:00pm.

Bid validity: Offers should be valid for 90 days.

  2. Bidders should submit their offers which should include delivery terms and bid validity.
  3. Evaluation will be based on compliance with specifications (or acceptable equivalents), price competitiveness, delivery schedule, and warranty/after-sales support.
  4. The TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONTRACTS FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS – SELF HELP AFRICA (SHA)_JAN 2023 will be applicable. These terms and conditions will be shared with the successful bidder for their review and signature.

Alternatively, proposals may be submitted in sealed envelopes by hand, clearly labeled “TENDER FOR SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF 90 MOBILE PHONES under Restore Africa Project” and delivered no later than 2nd October 2025 to the Self-Help Africa (SHA) Country Office in Lilongwe. Submissions should be addressed to: The Procurement and Logistics Manager, Self Help Africa, City Centre, Mwai House (Same building as Centenary Bank), Next to Anamwino House, Private Bag B-495, Lilongwe.

Closing date of receiving bid submission is 2nd October, 2025.

All bids will be evaluated in accordance with SHA Procurement guidelines as well as the requirements for this Invitation to bids. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of compliance with technical specifications, delivery period, price and discounts offered (if any).
