  1. PLN Star  Holdings  Limited  is  inviting  interested  bidders  to  submit  their  bids  for  purchase  of  the  following  motor  vehicle  on  as-is-basis;

  1. The vehicle  is  being  sold  through  a  bidding  process  and  will  be  offered  to  the  highest
  2. Inspection and  viewing  of  the  vehicle  for  all  prospective  bidders  will  be  conducted  at  PLN  STAR  office  premises  in Blantyre  from  Friday, 24 th  July,  2026  during  working  hours,  upon  prior  arrangement  with  the  Internal  Procurement Committee  on  +265  887  373  884  or  via  email  at  info@plnstar.co.mw  as  follows;
    •  Friday, 24 th  July  – 08:00 hrs  to 16:00 hrs  CAT
    • Saturday, 25 th  July  – 08:00 hrs  to 14:00 hrs  CAT
    •  Monday, 27 th  July  to  Wednesday, 29 th  July  – 08:00 hrs  to 16:00 hrs  CAT
  1. All prospective  bidders  are  required  to  sign  the  designated  vehicle  viewing  register  during  inspection  of  the  motor   Bidders  not  appearing  on  the  viewing  register  will  have  their  bids  rejected.
  2. Successful bidders  will  be  required  to  pay  at  least  50%  of  the  bid  value  to  PLN  STAR  as  deposit  within  seven  (7)  days  from  the  offer  date  and  balance  to  be  paid  within  fourteen  (14)  days    Failure  to  make  payment  within  the  stipulated  period  will  result  in  withdrawal  of  the  offer  and  award  of  the  motor  vehicle  to  the  next  eligible  bidder.  No  refunds  will  be  made  after  payment  for  the  vehicle.
  3. PLN STAR  shall  transfer  ownership  of  the  vehicle  to  the  successful  bidder  upon  receipt  of  full    All  costs  related  to  the  transfer  of  ownership  shall  be  borne  by  the  buyer.

  5. Bids should  be  addressed  to  The  Chairperson,  Internal  Procurement  Committee,  PLN  Star  Holdings Limited,  P.O.  Box  3476,  Blantyre,  and  submitted  electronically  to  info@plnstar.co.mw  not  later  than  17:00hrs  on  Friday,  31st  July,  2026.  Please  indicate  the  tender  reference  number  in  the  subject  line  of  the  email.
  6. PLN STAR  reserves  the  right  to  accept  or  reject  any  bid,  in  whole  or  in  part,  without  assigning  any  reason(s).
