2. PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Growth Poles Project 2.0 (GPP 2.0) is a five-year initiative (Oct 2023–Sept 2028) led by Palladium International and funded by Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs. It aims to accelerate inclusive, sustainable, and resilient wealth creation in Malawi by mobilizing private sector investments in agriculture and natural resource management. Its development objective is to advance a more inclusive, diversified, and resilient private sector that drives sustainable wealth creation while enhancing environmental and ecological diversity.

4. OVERVIEW REQUIREMENTS
This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to procure and furnish project offices, boardrooms, and common areas with durable, uniform, and professional furniture that complements existing setups, supports staff productivity, and enhances the overall workplace environment.
Qualified suppliers are invited to submit offers in form of a quotation which includes a detailed financial offer for either all the items listed or each item. This EOI itself is NOT a Request for Offer (RFO)

5. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A. Legal & Administrative Requirements
- The vendor must be a legally registered business entity in Malawi.
- Must hold valid tax registration and compliance certificates.
- Must not be under suspension or debarment by the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA) or any donor agency.
- Must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest.
B. Technical Capacity
- Demonstrated ability to supply office furniture that meets the specified dimensions, materials, and finishes.
- Proven track record of delivering similar furniture to donor-funded projects, government institutions, or corporate clients.
- Capacity to deliver and install furniture within the required timeframe.
C. Financial Capacity
- Must demonstrate financial stability and capacity to fulfill the order without requiring advance payments beyond agreed terms.
- Ability to provide competitive, transparent pricing inclusive of VAT and delivery.
- Submission of quotations that clearly itemize costs for desks, round tables, and visitor’s chairs.
D. Documentation Required
- Company registration certificate.
- Tax clearance certificate.
- At least two references from past clients for similar supplies.
- Detailed technical specifications and product catalogues for proposed items.
- Delivery schedule and warranty terms.
6 SUBMISSION OF EOI
The technical (specification of the supplied furniture) and the financial (quotation) bids are required to be submitted together through email at ProcurementGPMW@thepalladiumgroup.com.
