1. Background

Habitat for Humanity Malawi (HFHM), an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a non-profit Christian organization committed to improving housing conditions in Malawi. Since 1986, HFHM has supported over 133,600 families with various housing solutions. Guided by the vision, “A Malawi where everyone has a decent place to live,” we strive to transform lives through sustainable, affordable housing initiatives.

With funding from the Federal Ministry of Economics in Germany (BMZ), HFHM is implementing a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project in T/A Masumbankhunda, Lilongwe district, With funding from Federal Ministry of Economics in Germany (BMZ). We invite qualified, experienced, and competent construction companies to submit tender proposals for the following work:

 2. Requirements

 Interested companies must include the following in their proposal:

• Annex 1: Cover page and letter of submission.
• Annex 2: Registration documents, including incorporation, Tax Registration, Tax Clearance etc.
• Annex 3: Evidence of three traceable referees, such as copies of contracts or purchase orders for similar works
• Annex 4: Company profile.
• Annex 5: Any additional relevant documents, organized in a series of annexes and clearly separated with labeled sections following Annex 4.

Sealed bid documents labelled “EG Project Number 7402 – Lot #……”  must be submitted to the address below. Electronic bids will not be accepted.

Closing dates for receiving sealed bids is 18^th June 2025 by 2pm . Tenders will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives at HFHM offices on 19^th  June 2025 at 10am.
