PRE – QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR 2027-2028

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Banja La Mtsogolo (BLM) is a Malawian Non-Governmental Healthcare Organisation (NGO) established in 1987.  BLM provides quality Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare including HIV/AIDS information and interventions.  BLM is a senior member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Partnership which works in 43 countries. BLM exists to improve the quality of life in Malawi through family planning and reproductive health care services. BLM serves over 800,000 clients annually and makes a significant contribution to national family planning objectives. The organization has national coverage, operating through 23 clinics, and numerous PSS and Outreach clinic sites.

 BLM invites interested registered business entities to express their interest in consideration to various categories for the supply/ provision of goods and services for the years 2027 & 2028.

3.0 ACCESSING APPLICATION FORMS

Application Forms can only be collected from BLM Support Office situated opposite CFAO Malawi, along Paul Kagame Highway in Lilongwe. Application Forms are pegged at a non-refundable fee of MK40,000.00 per Lot/ Category. This fee should be deposited in cash into the following Bank account and present the proof of payment when collecting the form.

4.0 ELIGIBILITY

All interested business entities should meet the below-listed requirements:

 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
01Fully and duly completed Application/ Questionnaire Form
02 Detailed Company Profile – Clearly stating the current Physical address, contact telephone numbers, and valid email address or (enclose a CV in case of consultants)
03Financial position – a duly authenticated bank statement for the last 3 months
04Evidence of experience in the related category (at least 3 recent reference LPOs/ Contracts
05Copy of a valid Certificate of Registration /Incorporation
06Copy of VAT, TPIN, EFD certificate
07Copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate
08Certificate of registration with the respective regulatory body of the industry i.e.  PMRA, CIRA, PM&PB, IATA, RBM, Homeland security and any applicable certificate.
09Copy of a valid Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets (PPDA) Certificate

5.0 SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

Fully completed Application Forms together with the original copy of a bank deposit slip for payment of MK 40,000.00 non-refundable processing fee, and all relevant documentation as per (4) above, shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked with prequalification document name, reference code number, and description deposited in the BLM designated  Tender Box at Lilongwe Offices at the reception area in a box that will be marked ‘PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS’ by 2:30 pm on Tuesday  29th September 2026.

Please note that late submission of pre-qualification documents will not be accepted. Canvassing shall lead to automatic disqualification.

BLM is not bound to pre-qualify any of the applicants if deemed unfit as per its organizational regulations.
