Invitation for Bids – Supply and Delivery of Ramadan 2026 Food Packs

Islamic Relief is a UK based independent humanitarian and development Organisation that has been serving humanity for over 40 years. Islamic Relief Malawi (IR Malawi) is implementing various projects in Malawi that aims to reduce suffering and improve living conditions of vulnerable community members through capacity building and adapted support. IR Malawi intend to sign supply and delivery contract competent, registered and reputable individuals, associations and companies to provide bids / quotations for supply of materials as follows:

Lot Description of Lots 
Lot 1 Ramadan Food Packs delivery in Blantyre
Lot 2 Ramadan Food Packs delivery in Mangochi

Interested bidders can request bid documents from Islamic Relief Malawi from 17th December 2025 during work hours (8:00am to 4:30pm) from Monday to Friday through faida.phiri@islamic-relief.org.mw.

Completed bids should be submitted by 6th January 2026 at 12:00noon. The outer envelope must be sealed and marked only: “Bid # XXX – Supply and Delivery of Ramadan 2026 Food Packs”. The outer envelope MUST NOTbear a name, mark or any other sign that could identify the bidder. Non-compliant offers will be disqualified and return to bidders. Bidders must provide One (1) Original (marked as Original) and One (1) copy of the Offer (marked as Copy). The submission must include the following:

  • Appendix 1: Letter of submission (mandatory)
  • Appendix 2: Priced Bill of quantities
  • Appendix 3: Attested references of the supplier with the physical addresses of main clients
  • Bidder company profile.
  • Valid Business Registration certificate.
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Public Procurement and disposal of assets Authority certificates (PPDA)
  • Recent Financial statements (Certified bank Statement).
  • Acknowledged Bid document received from IR Malawi.

Bid Opening will take place on 7th January 2026 at 2:30pm within Islamic Relief Malawi premises.

Important Note:

  • Bidders are encouraged to participate to the bid opening session as indicated in the Bid document.
  • Shortlisted bidders may be added to IR Malawi Pre-qualified vendor list
