Invitation for Bids: Ramadan Food Packs Delivery

Islamic Relief is a UK based independent humanitarian and development Organisation that has been serving humanity for over 40 years. Islamic Relief Malawi (IR Malawi) is implementing various projects in Malawi that aims to reduce suffering and improve living conditions of vulnerable community members through capacity building and adapted support. IR Malawi intend to sign supply and delivery contract competent, registered and reputable individuals, associations and companies to provide bids / quotations for supply of materials as follows:

Interested bidders can request bid documents from Islamic Relief Malawi from 10th January 2025 during work hours (8:00am to 4:30pm) from Monday to Friday through faida.phiri@islamic-relief.org.mw.

Completed bids should be submitted by 23rd January 2025 at 12:00noon. The outer envelope must be sealed and marked only: “Bid#4626 – for Supply of Ramadan 2025 Food Packs”. The outer envelope MUST NOT bear a name, mark or any other sign that could identify the bidder. Non-compliant offers will be disqualified and return to bidders. Bidders must provide One (1) Original (marked as Original) and One (1) copy of the Offer (marked as Copy). The submission must include the following:

  • Acknowledged Bid document received from IR Malawi.
  • Submission cover letter in IR Malawi mandatory Appendix 1.
  • Bill of quantities and unit price list in accordance with Appendix 2.
  • Bidder company profile.
  • Valid Business Registration certificate.
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Public Procurement and disposal of assets Authority certificates (PPDA)
  • Recent Financial statements (Certified bank Statement).
  • Attested references of the clients (Appendix 3) and relevant attachments.

Bid Opening will take place on 23rd January 2025 at 2:00pm within Islamic Relief Malawi premises.
