DESIGN AND FABRICATE TWO 20ft CONTAINERS INTO A WAREHOUSE

Banja La Mtsogolo (BLM) is a Malawian Non-Governmental Healthcare Organization established in 1987.  BLM provides quality Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare services including HIV/AIDS information and interventions. BLM is a senior member of the MSI Reproductive Choices Partnership which works in over 40 countries globally.

BLM is requesting tender for:

  • Fabricate two 20ft containers into one container
  • Three levels of shelves fitted on one wall (Shelves to be provided)
  • Install two 18 000BTUs air conditioners
  • Demarcate pharmacy office and the warehouse with expansion wire
  • Electric works for power provision
  • Install security lights and 4 CCTV Cameras
  • Provision of a covered receiving and dispatching bay
  • Construction of the Plinth to support the containers
 1 Banja La Mtsogolo – Zingwangwa Clinic
  1. Groundwork to start 2 days from the date of the contract.
  2. Please provide a detailed bid supported with drawings of the fabricated containers
  3. Bids should be responsive, qualified, and technically compliant. A contract will be placed with the supplier offering the (best-fit combination of the three attributes) and not only on the lowest-priced quotation.
  4. Enclose the following documentation as they will form part of the bid’s preliminary evaluation:
    1. A copy of your Trading License
    2. A copy of your valid Annual Tax Clearance Certificate
    3. Valid PPDA Certificate
    4. Valid NCIC Certificate
    5. Valid MERA Certificate and profile for the Technician to do the warehouse electrification
    6. At least 3 similar contracts performed before

6. Bidders are encouraged to conduct a physical inspection of a similar project at BLM Support Office in Lilongwe before quoting.

7. Submission: hand-delivery in a sealed envelope addressed to The Internal Procurement & Disposal Committee, Banja La Mtsogolo, Box 1854, Lilongwe,

Marked ‘’Design and Fabricate Two 20ft Container Warehouse” through the BLM designated Tender Box marked Design and Fabricate two 20ft Container Warehouse at BLM Support Office reception area in Lilongwe, located along Paul Kagame Highway opposite CFAO.

Closing date: 10th December 2025, at 16:00hrs.

All bidders are free to attend the bid opening on 11th December 2025, at (14:00hrs)

BLM is not bound to engage any bidder if deemed unfit as per its organizational regulations.

Late submissions will not be entertained.
