Invitation to Bid – Supply, Delivery and Production of Certified Maize Seed Packs

INVITATION TO BID (ITB) SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND PRODUCTION OF CERTIFIED MAIZE SEED PACKS
NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING

1. The Government of Malawi (GOM) through the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, intends to engage eligible bidders for the Supply, Delivery and Production of Certified Maize Seed packs. The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for the following items;

2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Tendering procedures under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act, 2025 of the Government of Malawi and is open to all interested bidders.

3. Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from the Procurement department at the address shown in 6 (a) below from 7:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00 hours from Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address shown in 6 (a) below from 7:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00 hours from Monday to Friday, except public holidays upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00, payable in cash.

5. Bids in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with “Supply, Delivery and Production of Certified Maize Seed Packs” must be delivered at the address 6(b) below (by depositing in a tender box located at the reception) before or on Wednesday 16th September, 2026 at 14:00 hours. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected and returned to the owners unopened.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address 6 (c) below on Wednesday 16th September, 2026 at 14:00 hours. The address (es) referred to above are;
