1. Thyolo District Council has received Fund – Reformed Constituency Development Funds (RCDF) from Central Government for the Construction of Various projects within the district.
2. The Chairman, Internal Procurement and Dispersal Committee (IPDC) Thyolo District Council – Now invites Sealed Bids from Eligible Bidders/Contractors who can ably and skillfully do the Construction Projects/works below.

3. Bidders are at liberty to Bid for More than One (1) Lot. The basis for bid evaluation and contract award will be by individual lot. Bidders willing to bid more than one class should be prepared to pay for each additional class.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with National Competitive Bidding (NCB) under Building and Civil works category and Procedures contained in the public procurement Act and Regulations of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all bidders.
5. The participation tee for bidding is Mk 20,000.00 which will not be refunded (Payable to Thyolo District Council’s Cash Office) followed by the collection of the document from the address indicated below starting from 28th August 2026 during working hours.
6. Sealed bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 16th September 2026, 10:30 am hours. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. Late bids shall be rejected Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on 16th September 2026, 10:30 am hours (local time).
7. Note that pre-bid meeting and site visits are mandatory and contractors are strictly advised to visit the sites to familiarize themselves with the site, terrain, condition and pass ability of the roads for an informed decision when developing their rates. The date for pre-bid meeting and site visit is 9th September 2026 from 9:00 am in the council conference room 4 floor number 4
