INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB)
PROCUREMENT OF WORKS – 2025- 2026 TRANSFORM PROJECT
NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)
DATE OF ISSUE: 8thAUGUST, 2025.
1. Machinga District Council under TRANSFORM PROJECT has budgeted funds in 2025 – 2026 for the Implementation of Construction activity in Machinga District and intends to use these Funds for construct mkalazombe solar powered irrigation system.
2. The District Council is therefore invites sealed bids from interested eligible Contractors to execute the works as stated in the table below.

3. Bidding will be done in accordance with national competitive bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2025.
4. Eligible interested bidders may obtain and inspect Bidding Documents in the Procurement Unit at the address given below (9a) from 08:00 to 12:00 pm and from 14:00pm to 16:00pm except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be collected at the address shown in (9a) upon payment of MK20,000.00 cash non-refundable fee in the cashier’s office at the address given at (9b) except on public holidays.
6. Bids clearly sealed and marked “Name of Procurement , Reference Number should be deposited in a Tender Box at Machinga District Council Chamber at the address given at (9c). Bids should be accompanied by a bid securing declaration form on or before 25th August, 2025 14.00 hrs local time. Late bids will be rejected. For more clarifications , Call: 0999626463/0889839168
