REQUEST FOR QOUTATION (RFQ)

Subject of Procurement : 2025-2026 RCRP PROJECTS
Date of Issue: 6th August, 2025
1. Blantyre District Council has budgeted funds under REGIONAL CLIMATE RESILIENCE PROGRAMME (RCRP) for the implementation of various activities in the district and intends to apply part of the funds for the construction projects listed Below under Request for Quotation Procedure from Eligible bidders.
2. Chairperson, Internal Procurement & Disposal of Assets Committee, Blantyre District Council now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the Construction Projects listed below:

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Tender procedures contained in the Public Procurement Laws and Regulations of the government of the Republic of Malawi and open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Blantyre District Council and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at clause 7 (a) from 8am to 12 -00; 13.00 to 16.00 hours local time (Monday to Friday), except National Public holidays
5. A COMPLETE SET OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS IN ENGLISH MAY BE ACCESSED BY INTERESTED BIDDERS ON REQUEST TO THE ADDRESS BELOW ON 7
6. Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box, at the address below at 7 (c) at or before 2:00 hours local time on Friday 15th August, 2025. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 7 (c) at 14.00 hours, local time on Friday 15th August, 2025. Late Bids shall be REJECTED
