Call for Expression of Interest (Eol) – Commercial Sorghum grain production 2025/2026 Season
NASFAM is looking for farm or estate owners to engage into contract commercial sorghum grain production during the 2025/2026 season.
The following are eligibility conditions:
- Farms must be at least 5.0 ha (to 100ha or more); smallholder farmer clubs with cumulative land area of at least 5ha can also apply.
- Farms must be located in the following areas within Malawi in medium altitude, Lakeshore and Lower Shire Districts.
- Ability to pay for specified seed varieties in advance.
- Ability to strictly follow all management practices to ensure aflatoxin-free produce including procurement and application of Aflasafe®.
- Willing and ability to insure their crop against extreme weather conditions (crop insurance cover).
