Lotus Africa seeks to recruit suitably qualified and motivated individuals’ various positions in the Engineering department at Kayelekera Uranium Mine in Karonga.

• 5 Electrical Assistants – Technical schools’ diploma/certificate (2 years’ experience on electrical plant)
• 4 Electricians – 3 Years experience in a similar environment as a low voltage electrician
• 2 Diesel Mechanics – Certification in diesel mechanics (3 Years maintenance experience on diesel engines)
• 1 Planner – Qualified artisan/diploma/degree in relative maintenance fields (A good working knowledge of uranium working plant, a good working knowledge of maintenance planning systems and asset management systems, preferably PRONTO)
• 2 HDPE Plasticines – Technical Diploma, HDPE welding training certificate (3 years experience
• 1 Rigger – International accredited and certified in relevant Training and company associated activities (5 Years experience)
• 1 Condition Monitoring – Licensed electrician or mechanical fitter or Engineer, training in condition monitoring, Lubrication and Reliability (Minimum 2 years’ experience on electrical plant)
• 1 Senior instrumentation Technician – 5 years’ experience with complex SCADA and Instrumentation system
• 1 Preservation Team Leader – 5 Years experience in similar post.
