Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawian candidates to fill the following vacant posts existing at Dowa District Council.
POST: Roads Engineer
Grade: H/M5
Location: Dowa District Council
Responsible to: Principal Roads Supervisor
QUALIFICATION
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering obtained from accredited institutions.
POST: Building Supervisor
Grade: K/M8
Location: Dowa District Council
Responsible to: Director of Public Works
QUALIFICATION
Applicants must be in possession of Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building or Construction Site Management or Certificate in Foremanship Level 2 NCIC or Tevet Foremanship Certificate Level 3 or grade one (1) Trade Test Certificate obtained from accredited institutions.
POST: Assistant Trade Officer
Grade: K/M8
Location: Dowa District Council
Responsible to: Trade Officer
QUALIFICATION
Applicants must be in a possession of a Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Business Administration or Commerce (Economics) obtained from accredited institution.
POST: Laboratory Technician
Grade: K/M8
Location: Dowa District Council
Responsible to: Senior Laboratory Technician
QUALIFICATION
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Biomedical Science or Laboratory Science obtained from accredited institutions and must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi.
POST: Assistant Environmental Affairs Officer
Grade: K/M8
Location: Dowa District Council
Responsible to: Environmental Affairs Officers
QUALIFICATION
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental possession of a Diploma in Environmental Science, environmental Management, Environmental Science and Technology or Natural Resources obtained from accredited institutions.
