1) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – HEAD OFFICE, BLANTYRE
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with prospective clients. The role will involve promoting the company’s insurance products, generating leads, and working closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met. He/she will be an ambassador for the company’s brand and will play a key role in expanding market share while adhering to compliance standards set by the Insurance Act and other regulatory frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance market, including products, competitors, and regulatory requirements (Insurance Act, solvency requirements).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to assess customer needs and market trends.
- Goal-oriented, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.

2). ACCOUNTANT – HEAD OFFICE, BLANTYRE
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant, will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, managing financial reporting, preparing budgets, and supporting financial planning and analysis processes. He/she will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of accounting processes while adhering to industry regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with the Insurance Act, local tax laws, and IFRS is highly preferred.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3). DISPATCH RIDER – HEAD OFFICE, BLANTYRE
Reporting to the Human Resources and Administration Officer, a Dispatch Rider is responsible for transporting documents, packages, and goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent.
- Must possess a valid motorcycle license.
- At least 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with local traffic patterns is crucial for efficient delivery.
- Physical stamina for long rides and ability to handle packages of varying sizes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients and dispatchers.
