Unicaf University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for an Academic Programme Leader in the following areas:

•  Master’s and Doctoral Programmes in Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

•  Coordinating and leading Unicaf’s online postgraduate programmes in Information Technology and associated national and international staff
• Coordinating, leading and assisting in the development of new academic programmes
• Conducting regular monitoring of postgraduate programmes in Information Technology
• Quality assurance oversight of postgraduate programmes in Information Technology
•  Creating and enhancing material for an improved student/instructor experience
• Supervision of Master’s and Doctoral student dissertations
• Undertaking asynchronous teaching of online modules
•  Evaluating and/or grading student assignments
•  Performing other related tasks, as deemed necessary
• The successful candidates will be encouraged to develop and access funding for independent research projects

Requirements

• A relevant doctoral degree from a recognised institution.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching at Tertiary Education level
• Demonstrated experience of student research supervision
• Demonstrated research achievements and publications
•  Experience in online teaching will be considered an advantage
