Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is a UK based international humanitarian and development organization working in 40 countries. Islamic Relief Malawi is looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions. To know more about IRW visit us on https://islamic–relief.org/ .

1) Temporary Volunteers (Blantyre and Mangochi Based)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

  • Administering surveys eg  Baseline and Endline to gather information from RHs.
  • Participating in training sessions and to understand survey protocols, techniques and specific instructions
  • Meeting deadlines for data submission and ensuring all required information is collected within the specified time frame
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy of respondentsinformation
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of the data collected and verifying responses and asking to follow up questions when necessary
  • Reporting challenges and issues encountered during data collection.
  • Helping in Qurban and Ramadan seasonal projects distribution process
  • Supporting staff beneficiary registration

Qualification & Experience:

  • At least Diploma in Development studies  or any field of study and those with a Bachelors Degree will have added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal skills, willing to work in remote or emergency settings
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, commitment to humanitarian principles and aligned to the mission and vision of IR and adhere to the org. strategic objectives
  • Good interpersonal skills & cross-cultural sensitivity with ability to work well in a team
  • Strong understanding of community-led development work. flexibility in working out of the core work hours when required
