Workforce Recruitment Services Seeks to recruit the following position on behalf of our Client.

Job Title: Supervisor
Location: Blantyre

Role Overview

The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the production department, ensuring that all activities run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards. The role requires a hands-on individual with technical fitting experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a busy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of fitting and production staff.
  • Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Enforce safety and quality standards across all operations.
  • Inspect and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Provide monthly reports to management, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Track material usage, production targets, and report any variances.
  • Maintain discipline and adherence to company policies.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
  • Experience in fitting or mechanical work in an industrial or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial production processes.
  • Ability to supervise teams in a busy, high-demand environment.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards.
  • Police Clearance: Required prior to employment confirmation.
