Job Title: Social Media Manager

Reporting to: Managing Director

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our social media presence. This role will oversee strategy, content development, community engagement, and performance analytics across all platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as the strategic link between brand vision and audience engagement, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Social Media Strategy Development & Execution
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Lead innovation through testing new tools, content formats, and platform features.

2. Content Planning, Creation & Publishing

  • Oversee ideation, planning, and scheduling of engaging multimedia content (video, static, carousels, polls, live sessions).
  • Collaborate with in-house designers, videographers, and copywriters to ensure brand consistency.
  • Supervise content calendars aligned with campaign objectives and marketing schedules.

3. Community Engagement & Growth

  • Manage community interaction across all platforms including prompt response to comments, DMs, and user engagement.
  • Design and execute initiatives to drive audience growth, retention, and brand loyalty.
  • Champion user-generated content and manage influencer partnerships.

4. Paid Social Media Advertising

  • Develop, execute, and optimize paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and other platforms.
  • Monitor budgets, performance metrics (CTR, CPM, CPA), and deliver ROI-driven outcomes.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Measure and analyze campaign performance using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and others.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports including:
  • KPI tracking (Reach, Engagement, Follower Growth)
  • Content Performance
  • Campaign Effectiveness
  • Trend Insights & Recommendations

6. Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with client service teams, creative departments, SEO, and email marketing teams for integrated marketing execution.
  • Participate in strategic planning and internal presentations to communicate campaign performance and insights.

7. File Management & Documentation

  • Maintain clear organization of campaign assets, performance reports, and budget documentation using standardized file structures and naming conventions.
  • Ensure secure and version-controlled access to sensitive data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, agency experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proven success in managing and optimizing paid social campaigns.
  • Proficient with tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer,Meltwater or similar.
  • Strong visual and copywriting sensibility.
  • Excellent analytical, multitasking, and communication skills.

Performance Expectations

  • 90–100% achievement of set KPIs.
  • Timely delivery of all content, reports, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strategic alignment with agency growth goals and client satisfaction
  • Participation in quarterly appraisals and annual performance reviews.
