We are commencing the recruitment of key roles in our organisational structure and are seeking to grow our on-site team.
The Company
Lindian Resources is an Australian company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:LIN) with world class rare earths and bauxite assets in Malawi and Guinea. The Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi is the cornerstone of Lindian’s asset portfolio and ranks amongst some of the best underdeveloped rare earth assets in the world. Our assets will provide critical minerals to fuel the technologies of tomorrow, driving innovation and supporting the world’s energy transition.
Through the development of the Kangankunde Project, Lindian is set to become a globally significant rare earths producer.
SITE QUALITY ASSURANCE/ QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC) INSPECTOR
Reporting to the Site Construction Manager, you will:
- Manage and assist contractors with on-site inspections.
- Witness and perform NDT inspections, ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Review method statements and quality documentation.
- Report defects, supervise corrective actions, and ensure repair procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with process engineers and commissioning teams for correct installation of piping and equipment.
- Facilitate project handovers with accurate documentation and operator readiness.
- Uphold SHEQ standards and support safe site practices
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:
- Recognised QA/QC inspection qualifications.
- 8 years + multidisciplinary QC experience across civil, mechanical, geotechnical, and welding inspection.
- Certifications including Inspector Levels 1 &
- Proven track record on major projects
- Strong expertise in NDT techniques (MPI, LPI, RT, HT, UT, PI) and compliance with welding/fabrication standards.
- Experience in risk management, contractor coordination, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of planning, commissioning, and project handovers
- Understanding of SHE principles, mentoring, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Eligibility:
Only Malawian Citizens will be considered. Candidates must be eligible to work in Malawi. Candidates will be asked to complete a National Police Clearance prior to employment.
