SENIOR MANAGER REVENUE AND E-VALUE CONTROL – GRADE D3

Reporting to the Director of Finance – Mpamba, Finance Division, the Senior Manager Revenue and E-Value Control will be responsible for designing and enforcing financial internal controls relating to loan management within the business, managing fraud risks, ensuring that all reve- nue generated is properly collected and accounted for, and monitoring and controlling direct business costs to support sustainable growth and profitability.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in developing the mobile money financial strategy in line with TNM Mpamba Limited’s business objectives.
  • Review revenue and expenditure performance for agents and customers against approved budgets and recommend corrective measures to achieve targets.
  • Propose funding requirements to support continuous business operations for Mpamba agents and customers.
  • Prepare and implement Mobile Money Finance policies and procedures in compliance with TNM requirements.
  • Review and recommend acceptable Portfolio at Risk (PAR) levels for management approval.
  • Recommend allowable provisions for bad debts relating to customer and agent overdraft facilities.
  • Review performance reports for loan portfolios and approve agent and customer overdraft reconciliations.
  • Liaise with the Legal Department to ensure debtors with unresolved payment challenges are handed over for legal action and followed up accordingly.
  • Draw customer ageing analyses for debtors over 30 days to ensure collections are execut- ed in line with applicable policies.
  • Prepare debt collections management reports and monitor collection effectiveness.
  • Address customer complaints relating to bills and ensure the timely resolution of disputes and service concerns.
  • Visit customers to discuss outstanding bills, payment plans, and identification of problematic accounts.
  • Develop and update Revenue Assurance processes and procedures to effectively manage revenue streams and prevent revenue leakages.
  • Analyze profitability margins for new and existing products, promotions, and incentives, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Engage relevant divisions to identify quantifiable revenue leakages and implement corrective actions through Revenue Assurance initiatives.
  • Assess fraud risks and implement detective and preventive controls to identify and mitigate fraud on time.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Information Communication Technology, Bachelor of Science (BS), Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience and/or Qualifications in Banking, Accountancy, or Finance will be an added ad- vantage.
  • Professional membership in Banking, ACCA, or CIMA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in revenue assurance, financial operations, banking operations, mobile money, or related financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of loan portfolio management, reconciliations, fraud management, and financial controls.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience in debt management, collections, and revenue assurance activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
