Position: School Principal
Location: New Life Academy, Mchezi – Kanengo in Lilongwe
New Life Academy, a mission-driven private primary education institution located in Mchezi, Kanengo in Lilongwe is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated individuals to fill the position of The School Principal. This is a leadership role that requires a passionate, visionary, and values-driven educator who is committed to academic excellence, spiritual development, and holistic child growth in a Christian mission school setup.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be aged 35 years or above
- A minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a school Principal in a private school setting
- A devoted and practicing Christian, committed to serving in a mission-oriented learning environment
- Must have a Diploma or Degree in Education from a recognized institution
- Must have a Teacher’s Certificate from a recognized Teacher Training College
- Must be mature, professional, and possess excellent leadership, administrative,
and interpersonal skills
- Must be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM)
- Possesses an original Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
- Must hold a valid National Identity Card
Key Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proven ability to provide visionary and strategic leadership in a school Environment
- Strong knowledge of curriculum implementation and academic planning
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and team-building skills
- Ability to enforce discipline and uphold Christian values among staff and learners
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to oversee school operations, budgeting, and resource management
- Competence in building partnerships with parents, the community, and education stakeholders
- Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
Position: Chef
Warm Heart Guest House and Diana Conference Center located in Area 27, at Mchezi in Lilongwe is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Chef. The successful candidate will be hired to serve as Chef for the facility; a newly opened hospitality and corporate business facility situated on the outskirts of Lilongwe city, in Kanengo off Salima road.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a Certificate or Diploma in Hotel and Catering, Food Production, or any other related field.
- Must have a valid Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in the hotel and tourism industry in a similar role is required.
- Must have a valid Malawi National ID.
- Must be physically fit and willing to work under pressure and during odd hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Should be a committed individual willing to work in a Christian environment and uphold Christian values in conduct and service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing a variety of local and international dishes.
- Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Planning menus and monitoring food stock levels.
- Supervising kitchen assistants and managing kitchen operations efficiently.
- Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations.
