SALES, FLOOR AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Shop Manager, the Sales Floor Admin Officer will provide administrative and operational support across the sales floor, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate records, and compliance with company policies. The role supports the Shop Manager in maintaining operational efficiency, enabling excellent customer service, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities, among other things, include:
- Supporting the Shop Manager in monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational performance.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales, stock movements, and staff attendance.
- Preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Assisting sales staff with administrative tasks to enable a focus on customer service and sales.
- Coordinating with finance, HR, and other departments on payroll inputs, supplier payments, and compliance matters.
- Tracking stock levels, coordinating replenishment, and supporting inventory audits.
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve stock and delivery issues.
- Ensuring proper filing, documentation, and compliance with company procedures.
- Monitoring shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
- Promoting teamwork, professional conduct, and discipline among sales staff.
- Supporting staff training and development initiatives when required.
- Performing any other beneficial duties as directed by Management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
- At least 2–5 years’ experience in retail administration or sales support.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, cash handling, and inventory systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic retail POS systems.
- Experience in report writing and data analysis.
