Habitat for Humanity Malawi has established Timange EcoBuild Limited, a for-profit social enterprise focused on the production of sustainable building materials and property development. The enterprise currently operates a stabilized soil and concrete block production facility based in Machinjiri, Blantyre.

| Job Summary | The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and commercial performance by acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and converting opportunities into sales. The role focuses on developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, preparing competitive quotations, and negotiating contracts to close deals. Working closely with internal teams and channel partners, the position ensures efficient delivery of Timange Ecobuild products and services while expanding market presence across Blantyre and surrounding catchment areas. This role also supports operational coordination and customer service to sustain long-term client relationships and repeat business. |

Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Manage sales and marketing activities across Blantyre and all peripheral catchment areas within Timange’s market reach.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Work with the Business development Officer in Business Development, including identifying new customers and markets.
- Negotiate orders, pricing, payment terms, and ensure timely delivery.
Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Support development of sales and marketing strategies for different market segments.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform decision making.
- Support product development and launch, resource center services, and value-added offerings, including delivery services.
- Coordinate advertising activities and manage marketing materials and promotional initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Relaying or Handling customer queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and feedback.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and reduce repeat complaints.
Reporting & Budgeting
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
- Manage ordering products from suppliers.
- Develop and manage monthly sales and marketing budgets.
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Business Communications/Management, Public Relations, Sales or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills – with strong public presentation and engagement abilities. – English fluency preferred.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing or business development with a verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and formulate data-drriven sales & marketing strategies to drive growth.
- Experience in researching, developing, and successfully introducing new products or services to the market.
