We are not hiring to fill a position—we are recruiting a growth champion. This is a performance-based role: measurable targets will be set, and results will define success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative sales strategies to attract new SACCO members and retain existing ones.
  • Lead membership recruitment drives in collaboration with other staff members and partners.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with individuals, corporates, and groups for bulk membership recruitment.
  • Develop and execute effective digital, field, and referral-based marketing campaigns.
  • Track market trends and member needs to align SACCO products with potential demand.
  • Organize and represent the SACCO at exhibitions, outreach campaigns, and community events.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports against growth targets.

Key Deliverables

  • Consistent and measurable monthly growth in active SACCO membership.
  • Increased visibility of SACCO products and services in target markets.
  • Expanded partnerships and referral channels driving sustainable member inflows.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or business development (experience in SACCOs, MFIs, insurance, or telecom will be an added advantage).
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, self-driven, and target-oriented.
  • Fluency in English and local languages is an added advantage.
  • Strong digital marketing and social media engagement skills are a plus.
