REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FROM AUDIT FIRMS TO UNDERTAKE AUDIT SERVICES (Re-Advertised-Extension of proposal submission closing date)
Background
UbuntuNet Alliance is registered as a Trust in Malawi and operates as a not-for-profit business entity, providing connectivity and other value-added services to member National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) across the Eastern and Southern Africa. It also manages projects supported by development partners, especially the European Commission.
The UbuntuNet Alliance requires the services of an External Auditor to carry out the annual audit and issue audit reports of its financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2025 and the following two years.
The External Auditor will also be required to carry out expenditure verification and to report in connection with the European Union grant for an external action, AfricaConnect4 Project which the Alliance will be implementing for 4 years. The exercise shall be conducted following the ToRs specified in the grant agreement.
Deadline for submission of Proposals
Qualified audit firms are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals by 17:00 on April 4, 2025. Full details on the scope of work and requirements will be provided upon request. Please refer to the following link for submission details: https://ubuntunet.net/audit-rfp/
