GoodVisionGlasses is a brand name of a German Non-Profit organization, registered in Malawi as OneDollarGlasses Ltd. and is CONGOMA certified. The mission of GoodVisionGlasses is to provide
high-quality vision care services and glasses to all people in need nationwide. To accomplish its mission, GoodVisionGlasses is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Regional Project Coordinator for the Northern Region, based at our Mzuzu GoodVision Malawi offices.

Position Description

The Regional Project Coordinator will lead and oversee all programs and operations within a designated region. The role focuses on regional leadership, team supervision, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and ensuring successful project and distribution outcomes. The coordinator will balance field operations, partner engagement, team management, and strategic planning to drive regional growth and program effectiveness.

Position Responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising regional teams
• Managing regional operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day program implementation.
• Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, schools, clinics, and community leaders.
• Leading regional projects and monitoring progress against targets, budgets, and quality standards.
• Overseeing regional distribution of glasses, donations, and other program supplies.
• Conducting regular reporting and providing accurate data to support decision-making.
• Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to ensure high performance and growth.
• Representing GoodVisionGlasses at regional forums, meetings, and events.
• Supporting fundraising, outreach campaigns, and community engagement activities as needed.
• Ensuring proper Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems are in place, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to assess program impact and inform decision-making.

Education:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the health, non-profit, or development sectors.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, partnerships, and team leadership.
• Experience in managing distribution networks and community programs is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and email.

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with the non-profit sector, particularly in eye care or health programs.
• Understanding of regional project operations, distribution, and logistics management principles.
• Awareness of local contexts and communities in Malawi.

Other:

• Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote locations.
• Fluency in English and Chichewa; knowledge of Chitumbuka is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
