Introduction & General Conditions
GiveDirectly (GD) invites competent and reputable companies to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for the provision of goods/services as described in our 2020 Expression of Interest Prequalification Call
About GiveDirectly:
GiveDirectly is a nonprofit that lets donors send money directly to the world’s poorest, with no strings attached. As part of our program activities, we require the purchase of various items/services to be used during implementation.
Purpose of this EOI:
The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to solicit competent and reputable companies to take part in our 2026 vendors prequalification exercise, to ensure Best Value for Money for GiveDirectly.
Guiding Principles:
All procurements at GiveDirectly are conducted fairly, transparently, with strong competition, and clear segregation of duties, prioritising Best Value for Money (BVM). BVM considers competitive price, quality, timeliness, safety, sustainability, and compliance with donor requirements.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Firms are required to attach the following documents to their application:
Mandatory Requirement:
- Detailed Company Profile with registered address, functional email, telephone numbers and point of contact for the organisation.
- Evidence of company registration (i.e. Certificate of incorporation and other relevant government registration).
- Evidence of tax registration.
- Audited Bank Statements (BS) and Audited financial statements
- Verifiable office address in the country
Essential Requirement
- Evidence Previous experience in the specific goods/service category
- Possession of an authorisation letter from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)- (Partner ID for HP Dell, Cisco, etc. for IT Equipment Suppliers and other registration bodies as required)
- At least 3 past or current references in line with the category being applied for: The reference list should include the following
- Name of organization/agency/company for which the services were provided,
- Name, address, mobile contact and email of primary contact
- A brief description of the service provided
B. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS/CLARIFICATION
Interested and qualified vendors can submit their expression of interest by email to procurement.malawi@givedirectly.org.
For the following category, companies should request a price matrix document for submission in addition to other requested documents.

All documents required by this EOl must be received NOT LATER THAN on the 13th of February 2026. 5 pm
Bidders MUST clearly indicate on their submission no# for the category they are applying for. Late Submissions will not be accepted.
Application for each category should be submitted separately (and clearly marked with category number). The category number/details MUST be clearly indicated on the email subject; failure to do so will lead to disqualification.

This call for expression of Interest does not amount to a commitment on the part of GiveDirectly, and nothing in this EOI shall be construed as a form of a binding legal contract.
All costs related or incurred by the bidder in an attempt to respond to this bid shall be solely borne by the bidder GiveDirectly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals without any obligation to inform the affected applicants of the grounds for the acceptance or rejection.
