Job Overview:

Tiderise is seeking a People Operations Administrator to join our team. This is a remote position based in Lilongwe, where the successful candidate will be working closely with the People Operations team on day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of HR systems, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting seamless people processes across a dynamic environment.

The working hours for this role are from 3pm till 11pm. Qualified women are strongly urged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain and update accurate employee records across multiple HR systems (e.g., Google Drive, Google Sheets, Slack).
  • Perform high-volume, high-accuracy data entry while ensuring system consistency and compliance with established standards.

Process Administration

  • Execute standardized onboarding and offboarding tasks, including data entry, account setup/deactivation, and record updates.
  • Coordinate documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and role change notices using digital tools (Google Docs, DocuSign etc.).

Compliance & Documentation

  • Prepare, process, and organize employment documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies and data privacy regulations.
  • Support audit readiness through accurate record keeping and version control.
  • Support the administration of offer letters and coordination of employee lifecycle processes.

Cross Departmental Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams (Payroll, IT, Talent Acquisition, People Partnerships, and Operations) to ensure timely data flow and issue resolution.
  • Escalate discrepancies or system errors to relevant supervisors and collaborate on process improvements.
  • Respond to Tier 1 employee inquiries related to HR systems or data.
  • Assist with internal employee communications and background checks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 plus years of experience in administrative roles, with foundational HR knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace and related platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Experience with system data imports and reconciliations.
