POSITION: Partner Help Desk and Compliance Officer
Location: Lilongwe.
Overview

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an experienced Partner Help Desk and Compliance Officer to join a team of experts in the departments.
Job Purpose
The Partner Help Desk and Compliance Officer will be responsible for supporting partners and vendors in the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements, and coordinating invoice validation, approval, documentation, and payment processes.
The role will also provide guidance to partners on invoice submission requirements, monitor invoice processing through the ERP system, and ensure accurate tax treatment and supporting documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate Partner on internal invoice processing guideline and submission of invoices on time.
- Coordinate with the Tax team to ensure correct WHT and VAT tagging in ERP while accounting invoices.
- Ensure invoices are submitted and uploaded in ERP with complete supporting documentation, including EIS where applicable.
- Booking vendor invoices and rush invoices in ERP.
- Monitor invoice approvals, validation to ensure timely invoice payment as per due date.
- GRN Creation for service invoices and coordination with WTH team for signed GRN copy.
- Maintain invoice tracking checklist for ERP attachment.
- Escalate invoice approval to immediate supervisor and follow-up for invoice approval.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Timely generation of payments voucher for MRA and MACRA.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
- Professional qualifications in accounting, finance, compliance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in banking, finance, compliance, accounts payable, procurement, or a related environment.
- Experience in invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliation, and ERP-based financial processes.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, VAT, WHT, and related statutory requirements.
- Proven experience engaging with senior management, business partners, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Solid understanding of data analysis, financial reconciliation, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access, and Word.
- Experience working in a telecommunications environment will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and financial management processes.
- Project management skills and knowledge of SQL or Oracle will be desirable.
