Crown Hotel Malawi is a well-established hotel located on Kamuzu Procession Road in Area 3, Lilongwe. We are now recruiting for the following positions:

House Cleaner

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • Experience with a Chinese family preferred
  • Fluent in spoken & written English
  • Fast learner, reliable, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough cleaning of assigned areas (floors, windows, bathrooms)
  • Laundry, ironing, and proper handling of household items
  • Keeping rooms and corridors neat and hygienic
  • Reporting maintenance issues promptly
  • Following hotel standards and supervisor instructions

 

Asian Cuisine Hotel Stir-Fry Chef

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in Asian cuisine
  • Strong skills in stir-fry cooking
  • Good kitchen hygiene and team coordination

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Asian stir-fry dishes to standard
  • Plan prep work for busy service times
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper food storage
  • Follow portion controls and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff for timely service

 

House Keeper (Hotel)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures
  • Organized, punctual, and guest-oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Clean guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards
  • Change linens and replenish supplies
  • Report guest requests and maintenance needs
  • Ensure guest rooms are comfortable and presentable

 

Hotel Reservation Personnel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in hotel reservations or front office
  • Fluent in spoken & written English
  • Computer literate with good customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • Handle reservations by phone, email, and online systems
  • Update booking records accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries professionally
  • Assist check-in/check-out coordination with other departments
  • Provide information on room availability and rates
