Global -Wealth Loans is a microfinance institution set to improve livelihoods, skills and self-confidence of small scale business people in Malawi by providing responsible and reasonable microfinance and complementary social-economic services
Applicants with at least a diploma or a certificate in Business related field obtained from accredited institutions are invited to apply for the following vacant positions before 25 October 2024.
Position: Loan Officer Interns
Duty Stations:
- Mchinji
- Lilongwe
- Ntcheu
- Mangochi
- Liwonde
- Zomba
- Chikwawa
- Nchalo
Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with the loan applicants to identify their needs and collect information for loan applications
- Explain to applicants the types, terms and conditions of each loan to determine a loan that is suitable to the applicant’s needs.
- Train clients on GWLprocedures, business management and group dynamics.
- Check and judge customers’ ability and capacity to repay the loan as per the loans terms and duration.
- Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documenting within specified limits.
- Interviewing applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
- Interview clients and set up loan payment plans.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in business administration or any other business related field
- Able to deliver quality results under intense pressure
- Public speaking and advocacy skills
- Excellent command of written , oral English and local languages
- Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Proficient skills including Microsoft office word, excel and power point
